EuroEnergy has completed the acquisition of five wind parks in Greece with a total installed capacity of 120MW. The purchase of these assets that will be managed by EuroEnergy included provision of support during the transaction process for the assets, which were previously owned by EDF EN Hellas.
The transaction includes a cluster of two wind parks connected to the same substation in Lakonia with 44MW combined installed capacity, utilizing 15 Vestas V90-3MW wind turbines. There is a further cluster of two wind parks with a common connection point in Fokida with 46MW combined installed capacity utilizing 20 Enercon E70-2.3MW wind turbines. Finally there is a wind park in Kefalonia island with 30MW installed capacity utilizing Vestas V90-3MW wind turbines. EuroEnergy’s role includes full asset management services for wind parks, aiming to optimize their performance whilst assuring the highest possible health and safety standards and managing relationships with local communities.
