Nestled in the Vircava Municipality of Jelgava Prefecture, Zemgali Biogas Project was the first project for EuroEnergy in the biogas sector. With an installed capacity of 0.6 MW, operational since November 2011, this project utilizes robust biogas technology generating clean, sustainable energy for the region. The by-products are returned to the agricultural cycle as fertilizer to enhance soil at nearby farms.
